Dr. Lien graduated from New York University in 1988. Prior to NYU, he attended the University of Washington in Seattle and University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. While visiting his mother, a teacher in Anchorage, he felt that Alaska was the State in which he wanted to begin his practice. He has been practicing in Alaska for over 27 years and has been in Homer since 1995. He and his wife, Carla, moved to Homer after traveling one summer to help treat Medicaid famlies and fell in love with it's beauty and magic.
Dr. Lien keeps his knowledge and skills up to date by attending continuing educational classes in several areas, always making sure the class will be beneficial to his patients. He has acquired many times the credit hours required by his license, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care he can provide. Recently, Dr. Lien has focused his continuing education efforts toward several cosmetic dentistry innovations including Invisalign Orthodontics for immediate correction of some imperfections that previously required crowns and/or braces to correct. We are all very excited about the kinds of changes these procedures can provide for your self-image and in your daily connections with others in your life.
